A recent cruelty case in Northern Ireland highlights the need for us all to be vigilant in the prevention of animal neglect / cruelty.
Janice Watt from the Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary explained that a lot of neglect cases happen on private land, "It is normally a neighbour or someone who notices something, maybe a dead horse lying in a field that alerts us to the problem and that normally is just the tip of the iceberg once you get in there."
